Until recently, the optimization of physical prototypes called for large numbers of complex and cost-intensive vehicle tests. The Zero Prototype Lab now provides an efficient alternative. This eliminates the associated risks – for instance breakdowns or delays due to difficult-to-predict environmental and weather conditions. There is also no need for expensive driving studies at test sites or race tracks.

What is more, development follow-up costs are also reduced, as the final prototype is created more quickly meaning that fewer changes are necessary.
