Accessing the Attractive EU Vehicle Market
The combination of the digitalization of vehicles and the electrification of powertrains is causing enormous upheaval in the European vehicle market. Combustion engine technology and sheet metal working skills are losing their importance. Instead, IT and software development, battery management and electrified powertrains, connectivity, and the use of sustainable materials in the interior are coming to the fore. This is opening the doors to new suppliers not yet represented on the European market.
But even if the chances of entering the market have seldom been as good as they are today, the hurdles are still high. Regulatory requirements must be complied with, while the tastes and expectations of customers in the German and other European markets need to be met.
